About Christina Zen wolfe

Born in the California Bay Area, Christina grew up spending time in nature, taking art classes, and visiting art galleries and museums. She attended the University of California of Santa Barbara where she received her Bachelors in Studio Art and in Biology. She studied as a multimedia artist working in pencil, charcoal, pastels, and oils along with sculpting in clay, stone, bronze and steel. Following college, she entered the environmental field where she discovered geographic information systems and shifted her career into mapping. Developing maps tapped her creative side while deepening her appreciation of the interconnectedness of our world. This journey led Christina back to her heart calling as an artist, working across mediums of oil painting, pastels, and sculpture. She enjoys plenair palette painting and is actively growing this body of work. Christina uses the visual arts to connect people to the beauty of nature and wildlife. She seeks wild places, camping under the brilliant star-filled sky, and adventuring across landscapes together with her loving partner and dogs.
